New Homes Ridge Wiregrass Ranch Wesley Chapel
As part of my training as a Certified New Homes Specialist, I visited four very unique communities in September 2018. The first was the GL Homes luxury community in Wesley Chapel, FL – The Ridge Wiregrass Ranch. The Area
Wesley Chapel is getting built up fairly quickly, but when I got a peek at the new homes Ridge Wiregrass Ranch, it still felt like it’s exclusive and far enough from the hustle and bustle. It only took about an hour to get there from Largo, and it’s a short drive from the highway. It’s not far from basic necessities (shopping malls, schools, grocery stores, car dealerships) and there’s a beautiful, staffed gate that separates the neighborhood from the main roads for security and privacy.
The Community – new homes Ridge Wiregrass Ranch
Driving around, it felt like pulling into a resort. The waterfall entry, a massive clubhouse (check out their clubhouse video here; it’s complete with a full sports complex and catering department) tennis courts, plus a community waterslide and kiddie water park – it’s like they never want you to feel the need to leave the neighborhood. It’s also pretty well planned out to integrate the existing nature preserves throughout the community.
Your New Home
The included features in the homes are definitely the expected “luxury” items and all of the new homes Ridge Wiregrass Ranch are either 1 or 2 stories with 2+ car garages. Of course there are granite counters, stainless steel appliances, tile roofs, pavers for the exterior spaces, covered patios and luxury bathrooms. Homes in the community start in the mid-$300s.
Talk about flexibility in creating your dream home! There are three main options to make use of their 20+ floor plans:
- Custom – you pick the home site, the floor plans and all of the details.
- Pre-permitted – the floor plan and basics are already approved for the home site and it may or may not be coming out of the ground…but you add the finishing touches to make it your own.
- Under construction (express homes) – everything’s been selected and it’s nearly complete or 100% move-in ready. There are usually 25 of these in inventory at any given time, making it easy for you buy new construction without the wait usually associated with buying new!
