Prepare for Hurricanes - Things to Never Do
Hurricane season in Florida runs from June thru November. Every year, we are told how to prepare for hurricanes. But when we’re told how to prepare for hurricanes, we’re usually not told the things to never do!
I love that Florida Realtors shared this article. So many of the “things to never do” are old myths about how to prepare for a hurricane, like X-ing windows with tape, which can cause permanent damage to your windows – especially new ones!
And some of these preparation “don’t do” items are ones we’re all guilty of (like using candles). Skip the candles, load up on battery-powered camping lanterns and batteries and read on! They had some great reminders in here!
