Seminole Florida is largely a residential city that is outdoor-friendly. Locals and visitors enjoy Lake Seminole Park’s launch ramps, paved trails, and picnicking at the pavilions. It’s also home to Boca Ciega Millennium Park, a stop on the Great Florida Birding Trail, includes the 35-foot observation tower. A climb to the top is sure to please with expansive views of Boca Ciega Bay. Seminole also has many public parks that range from the waterfront tennis courts.

Seminole Florida is in Pinellas County. It is north of St. Petersburg, south of Clearwater, west of Pinellas Park and east of the barrier islands. Seminole has a population of approximately 18,300 residents.

Did you know?

The City of Seminole and its surrounding areas were described in historic references as early as 1528. It was in reference to the invasion of now Pinellas County by the Spanish who cam in search of gold.

Events include an annual Pow Wow Festival, a Children’s Triathalon, Music in the Park, Halloween “Field of Screams” event, Doggy Derby, and other holiday celebrations throughout the year.
